Meraki Foundation extends its compassionate care to empower children, young individuals, and NDIS participants spanning ages from 0 to 65. Our support services are designed to cater to both self-managed and plan-managed individuals, ensuring a brighter and more inclusive future for all.
Mentoring/Access Community
Positive, consistent, ‘gender specific’ role models for young people who may not have supportive relationships with adults within their own families, schools and peer networks. This might be home-based, or involve attending activities e.g.parks, bowling or cultural events/ community festivals
Supervised Contact Visits
We encourage parents and children to engage and interact in meaningful way. Our staff ensures the interaction between all parties are positive, safe and enjoyable.
Alternative Care Arrangements
If a young person has just been placed into care of the minister or have a placement breakdown, we assist with establishing routines, healthy eating options, encourage independent livIng. social sKIlls living skills through the process of pro social modelling
Supervised Transport
We ensure CYP can engage in the communities with age appropriate car seats and safe reliable transport. Circumstances where transport might be required include contact visits, mentoring sessions. placement changes or to appointments and community events.
In-Home/ Respite Support
Flexible care in-home, to assist with domestic duties and caring for children and young people. This can include establishing and maintaining routines. support for carers to allow respite from their roles.
24/7 Crisis Support
Meraki can provide crisis support for children/young people at short notice. This can occur it a child/young person has just been suspended from school, if they’re struggling at home, or if they’ve just been placed into the care of the minister.
